However, this does not mean that the first power generation can reach the level of 1.6 billion kWh per year, which will take two years to achieve.

Because the entire project has not been completed yet, it is just that turbines can be used for power generation now.

The water storage level of Chaishitan Reservoir Dam is already considerable at this time.

Water continues to flow into the water diversion channel through the water diversion tunnel, and flows to the tank area through the water diversion channel to become agricultural irrigation water.

With this reservoir, it is equivalent to almost 380,000 acres of farmland without worrying about drought and water shortage.

The most impressive thing is the increased grain output of these 380,000 mu of farmland.

It may be because of the butterfly effect caused by Liu Tao, or it may be the general trend. Yunnan Province is carrying out a vigorous household contract responsibility system, breaking the past communes and village collectives.

The land is divided according to the population, and then everyone only needs to pay taxes according to regulations.

After Liu Tao and others delivered a speech, they saw that power generation began. After the water was diverted, the turbine was driven to rotate under the action of the water head, and then power was continuously generated.

The generated electricity was boosted by the transformer and then transmitted to the destination through high-voltage wires.

The current power generation is 200 million kWh per year, that is, 548,000 kWh per day.

This power generation is already considerable, enough to supply electricity to residents of a county town of 200,000 to 300,000 people.

However, for now, the surrounding towns and villages cannot enjoy the benefits of this electricity for the time being, because this electricity is transmitted to various factories such as Panshan Machinery Factory.

"When we build these large reservoir hydropower stations and medium-sized reservoir hydropower stations, our entire Yunnan Province will not lack electricity for the next 30 years!" The leader said with expectation.

Previously, Yunnan Province's annual power generation was 5.2 to 5.6 billion kWh, which ranked 17th in the country.

The annual power generation of Chaishitan Reservoir is 1.6 billion kWh, which means that Yunnan Province's annual power generation will be around 7 billion kWh.

7 billion kWh was what Yunnan Province planned to achieve by 1984.

Due to the chain reaction caused by Panshan Machinery Factory, Chaishitan Reservoir was built ahead of schedule, and the goal of annual power generation of 7 billion kWh can be achieved this year.

Because in addition to the current annual power generation of 200 million kWh of Chaishitan, other reservoirs and hydropower stations have accelerated their construction speed and are also generating electricity one after another.

In about three years, the reservoirs and hydropower stations currently under construction will allow the entire Yunnan Province to generate an astonishing 30 billion kWh of power.

30 billion kWh is unimaginable for the current Yunnan Province, because the plan of Yunnan Province is to reach 7 billion kWh by 1985, which is also the sixth five-year plan. This plan includes the annual power generation of Yunnan Province reaching 7 billion kWh.

30 billion kWh, no one dares to imagine this number.

Liu Tao knows that 30 billion kWh is nothing. Maybe in ten years, the annual electricity consumption of Panshan Group in the whole Yunnan Province will reach this number.

"Leader, the construction of these reservoirs and hydropower stations still needs the help of the province to speed up the construction period." Liu Tao said.

Panshan Machinery Factory is powerless to build such large and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower projects. It must rely on the province. In addition to the construction of reservoirs and hydropower stations, there is also the construction of high-voltage lines.

These reservoirs and hydropower stations are jointly managed by both parties, and the annual income is 4:6, Panshan Machinery Factory 6, and the province 4.

Of course, what Liu Tao cares most about is to ensure the safety of electricity and water use in each factory.

After all, if the water and power are cut off for one day, the loss will be huge.

"The province will definitely do its best to do this. These have been included in the national key projects and provincial key projects." The leader said solemnly.

If the Yunnan Province invests, then to be honest, the Yunnan Province can't come up with the money at all, and it doesn't even have the funds to build a large reservoir.

But the money for these projects was paid by Panshan Machinery Factory, which is different.

These projects themselves can greatly promote Yunnan Province.

For example, the Bruge Hydropower Station is located on the ridge of the Huangni River, the boundary river between Yunnan and Guizhou Provinces. This is a hydropower station with an installed capacity of 600,000 kilowatts. The 14th Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power is responsible for the construction, and the province will provide assistance. Once completed, the annual power generation can reach 3 billion kWh.

The Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power originally started construction of this project in 1977. The 14th Engineering Bureau of Water Resources and Electric Power began to build roads and prepare for construction. However, due to lack of funds, the project has not been officially started. Most of the small amount of funds allocated by the state to the Engineering Bureau each year is used to maintain the construction team.

With the money from Panshan Machinery Factory, this project started construction at the beginning of last year.

Such reservoir hydropower that was previously planned but not built due to lack of funds, or under construction but very slowly, has been continuously started because of the money from Panshan Machinery Factory.

In three to five years, the annual power generation of Yunnan Province can be increased to 30 billion kWh, which is already the highest level in the country.

Liaoning Province ranks first in the country in terms of power generation. As an industrial base, Liao Province's annual power generation has reached 28 billion kWh, ranking first in the country.

The only thing that makes the leaders a little regretful is that it would be best if Panshan Machinery Factory used all the money for building reservoirs and hydropower stations in the other three southwestern provinces in Yunnan Province.

Liu Tao looked at the continuous flow of water, which drove the turbines and then discharged into the downstream river. Human beings' modern industrialization cannot be separated from water and electricity.

In addition to supplying Panshan Machinery Factory, this water can also be supplied to surrounding towns and villages.
